Concept

vasoconcreto_3dA bit of history on reinforced concrete: in the 19th century, a French gardener named Joseph Monier (regarded as the inventor) began creating flower pots using reinforced cement. The material was chosen to replace wood and ceramics, which rotted and broke too easily. From then on, it began to be used in the construction of reservoirs and beams, and in 1875, it was used to build a bridge at Chazelet Castle—the first reinforced concrete bridge in the world, which still stands today!
